At the continental level, the effects of climate change are bringing the populations of Greenland and Canada closer together, both economically and environmentally. Alamos exploration efforts in Nunavik are focused on the Qiqavik gold property. The property covers 604km2 of prospective green stone belt for gold exploration. The exploration on Qiqavik is in its early days with only 16months spent on the ground since 2016, however early surface discoveries are encouraging. The 2025 work plans to test some of the generated targets with diamond drilling.
