DESCRIPTION:Whiterock Lithium Corp. is a junior mineral exploration company focused on finding critical minerals and elements on their properties in Quebec\, Canada. In 2023 several Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum (LCT) pegmatite clusters were discovered on their Sacred Banana project located in Nunavik and their subsurface continuation drill tested in 2024. The results indicate that the presence of several flat laying\, large LCT pegmatites dikes starting at surface which could be a major source for raw materials that provide critical elements needed in clean energy solutions. The LCT pegmatite system discovered is characterized by simple mineralogy of dominantly spodumene as lithium-bearing phase\, and quartz plus feldspar as major gangue minerals. It was conceptually demonstrated that it is viable to produce a high-grade (6% Li2O) mineral concentrate with low Fe2O3 content. The focus in the future will be to work towards a mineral resource estimate and start environmental baseline studies.

Author of publications inscientific journals and reviews on rare metals (lithium\, beryllium\, molybdenum\, etc.) andon the use of isotopic systems for dating and tracing purposes.\n\nIn 1994\, he made a brief foray into the field of mineral exploration as a geologist onvarious projects in the James Bay territory on behalf of the mining industry.\n\nFrom 1995 to 1997\, he served as Project Manager for the Quebec Ministry of NaturalResources in the mineral resource development program on the Côte-Nord with the Innu(Montagnais)\, and from 1998 to 2002 in the Far North within the Inuit territories.\n\nIn 2003\, he was recruited by the Grand Council of the Crees as Chief Geologist and Executive Director for the Cree Council on Mineral Exploration. He has worked on research projects focused on social acceptability and regionaldevelopment under the auspices of the Cree Mineral Exploration Board. He has been involved in various programs related to Geo-Scientific knowledgedevelopment\, economic development\, assessment of the mineral potential of the JamesBay region\, college and vocational training\, and job creation on behalf of the Cree ofQuébec.\n\nHe has also been involved in several socio-economic and environmental agreementsbetween the Cree Nation and the mining industry\, as well as between the Cree Nation andthe Government of Québec.

DESCRIPTION:The new financial tool offered by the Société du Plan Nord: the Northern Infrastructure Funding Envelope in Support of the Mining Sector (ENIAM) will be explained. It aims to provide financial support for strategic infrastructure projects incorporating a multi-user perspective\, in support of the mining sector and for the benefit of communities in the northern territory. Projects can be studies or implementation of transportation\, energy distribution\, or telecommunications infrastructure projects. \nThe Société du Plan Nord can help facilitate the implementation of strategic infrastructure at all different stages of projects\; needs identification\; planification\; feasibility studies\; partners identification and project realization. Examples of the main infrastructure projects supported by SPN in Nunavik within the 23-28 Action Plan will be given: submarine and terrestrial fiber optics\, marina studies\, Puvirnituq aqueduct study\, incinerator and waste transportation study. \nThe Société du Plan Nord has also launched in 2025 a web platform to simplify interactions between contracting authorities (project promoters)\, suppliers and other stakeholders committed to economic development in the northern territory. The Réseau d’affaires&nbsp\;nordiques is a free and bilingual tool designed to maximize the economic benefits from major investments\, both public and private\, for the benefits of the suppliers located near the projects.  This tool will be introduced to the attendees.&nbsp\;\n\n
