Carl Sauvageau has been working in the environmental field at Sanexen since 2009. He is currently Senior Project Manager within the Environment Division, where his duties include project management and supervision. He is also responsible for operations management and actively participates in business development in Northern Quebec. Since 2016, he has also been Senior Project Manager of Sanexen’s subsidiary, Avataani, an Inuit partnership operating in Nunavik. In the course of his career, he has managed numerous environmental assessment and remediation projects, as well as hazardous materials management projects in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and Nunavut. Finally, he has extensive experience working with First Nation and Inuit communities,and governmental and private organizations across the country.
