About me
An Anishinabe from the Timiskaming First Nation, Dave was born in Val-d'Or where he spent most of his childhood. He later moved to Quebec City for his studies, then to Montreal where he began his career within the First Nations public administration. His last 25 years as an advisor, negotiator, and developer serving all First Nations in Quebec have allowed him to actively contribute to the socio-economic security of his Indigenous sisters and brothers. He currently coordinates the ID1N Official Mark, whose Bear logo is used to authenticate First Nations businesses. Since 2024, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Minwashin, an organization working to preserve and promote Anishinabe culture.
